• Applications are invited from male candidates for recruitment in the Army as Junior Commissioned Officers in the Army as Religious Teacher.
• Candidates hailing from Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, East Godavari, West Godavari and Krishna districts of Andhra Pradesh and Yanam (UT of Pondicherry) may apply to Army Recruiting Office, Station Road, Visakhapatnam – 530 004 Selection Procedure for Indian Army - Junior Commissioned Officers Post:

1. Candidates can apply on or before  05.01.2015.

The application form duly completed in all respect alongwith all relevant documents with two registered self addressed envelopes duly affixed with appropriate denomination postal stamps issued by the Department of Post & Telegraph giving your present address with PIN Code on which the acknowledgment/Call up notice/ rejection slip is to be sent will be forwarded to Army Recruitment Office, Station Road, Visakhapatnam – 530004 by 05 Jan 2015. The application should be marked as “APPLICATION FOR JCO (RT) COURSE RRT 77, 78 & 79) on the top of the envelopes.
5. The last date of receipt of applications at Army Recruitment Office, Station Road, Visakhapatnam – 530004 is 05 Jan 2015. Applications received after 05 Jan 2015 will not be considered.
6. Physical Fitness Test. Physical Fitness Test, Physical Measurement Test and Medical screening of the Candidates will be conducted by ARO Secunderabad at Kothagudem (Khammam) (AP) wef 04 Feb 2015 to 12 Feb 2015. The candidates who are issued ‘Call Up Letter’ are required to appear in the screening test at RO (HQ), Chennai). The physical proficiency test and the qualifying standards are as enumerated against each :- (a) 1.6 Km Run – 8 minutes (maximum permissible time). (b) Pull ups (Beam) – 06 (Minimum) (c) Balance – Qualify (d) 9 feet ditch.

 Written examination on Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) format will be conducted on 01 Mar 2015 by ARO Secunderabad. Timings are as under :-

• Paper – I – From 1000 hrs to 1100 hrs. (General Awareness)
•       Paper – II – From 1400 hrs to 1500 hrs. (Knowledge specific to particular religious denomination to which the candidate belongs).

Interview : Interview of the candidates short listed will be conducted at AOC Centre
