Samsung Galaxy Note 5 vs Apple iPhone 6 Plus:Comparison

Samsung could announce the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 in August, giving the iPhone 6 Plus a formidable new phablet rival to contend with.
Based on multiple rumours and speculations across the Web, the specs of iPhone 6S Plus and Galaxy Note 5 are compared. Based on what we know – or think we know – so far, we thought we'd take a look at how the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is likely to compare to the current large-screen champion, the iPhone 6 Plus.

Samsung Galaxy Note 5 vs iPhone 6 Plus

Samsung Galaxy Note 5: Metal edge, curved glass back
iPhone 6 Plus: Anodised aluminium back, curved glass display
you Want to know what the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 looks like? Naturally, we're not entirely sure, but it's likely to look quite a lot like the Samsung Galaxy S6.That means it'll have a nicely rounded metal rim and a glass-covered back . One interesting detail gleaned from the internet rumour mill suggests that the Note 5's glass back will be curve at the edges, which should mean that it sits nicely in the hand.
Ultimately,  it could give the iPhone 6 Plus a bit of a shoeing on the looks front. We're not saying that the largest ever iPhone is ugly, but it's definitely the plainest iPhone we've seen in some time, and it's also a little bigger than we would have liked thanks to its chunky top and bottom bezels. There is a certain freshness to Apple's edgeless design, however, after four successive generations of angular iPhones. The display has been made to curve gently into the rounded aluminium body, making it all feel quite seamless. It's a very nice phone to hold, though not for long periods – this thing weighs 172g after all.

Samsung Galaxy Note 5 vs iPhone 6 Plus: Screen

Samsung Galaxy Note 5: 5.7-inch 2,560 x 1,440 Super AMOLED
iPhone 6 Plus: 5.5-inch 1,920 x 1,080 IPS LCD
The iPhone 6 Plus was widely held to have one of the finest displays on the market upon release. It was big, yes, and at 1080p it was also the sharpest iPhone display yet.

One phone to challenge the iPhone 6 Plus screen's supremacy recently was the Samsung Galaxy S6, and we're expecting the Galaxy Note 5 to be as good if not better than its little brother on that front.
According to internet reports, it'll be a 5.7-inch QHD Super Amoled display, which sounds identical to last year's Galaxy Note 4 (pictured above). Given the improvements Samsung made to the aforementioned S6 screen in terms of colour accuracy and brightness, though, we're confident that this will be a notable improvement. It looks like the Galaxy Note 5 could be set to trump the iPhone 6 Plus for pure eye-popping screen appeal.

Samsung Galaxy Note 5 vs iPhone 6 Plus: Performance

Samsung Galaxy Note 5: 64-bit octa-core Exynos 7422 processor, 4GB RAM
iPhone 6 Plus: 64-bit dual-core Apple A8 processor, 1GB RAM
It's always tricky to compare the performance of iOS and Android phones, because they run on such different operating systems.
The Galaxy Note 5 is rumoured to pack a new custom Exynos 7422 CPU, which could be backed by 4GB of RAM. This will make it even faster than the already-speedy Galaxy S6.

In simple benchmarking terms, then, the Galaxy Note 5 will probably outstrip the iPhone 6 Plus quite comfortably. Apple's phone features the dual-core A8 processor, which excels in single-core performance, and is merely decent in multi-core terms. in the world of smartphones single-core performance still counts for an awful lot. Add in the undeniable advantage of Apple running both the software AND the hardware show, and you have a phone that arguably feels faster than any other. And yes, we'd include anything we've seen from Samsung in that. An impressive quad-core GPU helps the iPhone 6 Plus further.
Samsung Galaxy Note 5 vs iPhone 6 Plus: Camera
Samsung Galaxy Note 5: 16-megapixel sensor, optical image stabilisation, 8-megapixel front-facing camera, 4K video recording
iPhone 6 Plus: 8-megapixel sensor, optical image stabilisation, 1.2-megapixel front-facing camera
You know the drill. Samsung releases a new high-end phone, it's really good at photos, but not as good as the current iPhone.
Except, with the Galaxy S6 (pictured below), Samsung broke that pattern. It produced a true iPhone camera beater – at least in terms of pure image quality and manual flexibility.

We're expecting the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 to feature a similar 16-megapixel camera with OIS. In fact, going by previous form, we're expecting the Galaxy Note 5's camera to be even better, just as the Galaxy Note 4's camera was better than the Galaxy S5's.
The iPhone 6 Plus camera, for its part, remains the best camera for simply firing and forgetting. It's so easy and pleasant to use, and it's really hard to get anything but a clean shot – provided there's sufficient lighting. It even has the OIS system that the iPhone 6 lacks.
Still, we're expecting the Note 5 to have the measure of the iPhone 6 Plus from the off – in a photographic sense, at least.

Samsung Galaxy Note 5 vs iPhone 6 Plus: Battery

Samsung Galaxy Note 5: 4100mAh
iPhone 6 Plus: 2915mAh
We're not entirely sure how big the Galaxy Note 5's battery will be, but rumour has it that it might be a whopping 4100mAh. That's rather capacious, to say the least.
It's arguable that given the disappointing nature of the Galaxy S6 battery (a 2550mAh unit), Samsung had to come up with something significantly bigger.
While the iPhone 6 Plus battery is 'only' 2915mAh, it's always been the case that iOS phones need less juice than their Android counterparts. Trust us, for an iPhone, this is a massive battery. It's perhaps not surprising, then, that the iPhone 6 Plus has by far the best battery life of any iPhone. It's fantastic, and can last a whole two days if you keep the brightness down to around 50 percent. It's possible that Samsung will need that whopping battery just to draw level with the iPhone 6 Plus on battery life – especially with that pixel-dense display and hungry Android OS to power.

 Verdict

You can bet your bottom dollar that the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will outstrip the iPhone 6 Plus on the vast majority of technical points, with a better display and camera, and a faster processor.
It took some massive strides in that direction when it came to comparing the Samsung Galaxy S6 and iPhone 6, and a large part of that is down to the company's revised view of design and its newfound love of premium materials.
With the Galaxy Note 5 certain to borrow more than a few tricks from the S6, we should be on for a similarly tight battle between these two super-sizers.

Apple's India Test: How to Gain Volume and Meet Aspiration

MUMBAI: With only a tiny share of the world's fastest-growing major smartphone market, Apple Inc (AAPL.O) is stepping up its push into India, with a first targeted TV advertising campaign, expanded retail network and promotional financing schemes.
For years, India has been a low priority for Apple as spending power is weaker than in China, where the company's iPhones swiftly became must-have devices after their 2007 launch.
But Apple is now looking to build on a 93 percent increase in its iPhone sales in India in April-June, which for the first time outpaced growth in China, of 87 percent - albeit from a low base. Apple has just a 2 percent share of India's smartphone market, while South Korean rival Samsung Electronics (005930.KS) accounts for around one third of volume sales with its range of Android (GOOGL.O) phones. The India push coincides with Apple missing elevated expectations when it reported earnings earlier this week, prompting some investors to question how long double-digit growth can continue.

"Apple is consciously expanding its distribution in India and pushing its products aggressively. The marketing spend too is a part of that," said Jaideep Mehta, managing director for India and South Asia at tech research firm IDC.
Executives at several electronics retail chains and Apple distributors said the Cupertino-based firm was chasing shelf space to make its gadgets more visible, and has more than doubled the number of distributors to five.
Apple has also brought in a new senior executive to take charge solely of the Indian market, industry sources said, and has placed advertisements for a policy adviser to help it work with New Delhi's bureaucracy.
The company declined to comment on its India strategy.
"Apple's single-minded focus for India is on volume," said a senior executive at an electronics chain store, who declined to be named. "They have increased distributors and want to reach out to smaller cities."
BALANCING VOLUME, ASPIRATION
Analysts say much of the high growth in iPhone sales in India has come from earlier models such as the iphone4S, 5S and 5C, which are sold more cheaply."Apple is an aspirational brand. They will (have to) balance their volume push with that to get growth," said IDC's Mehta. That could be tough in a market where you can buy around eight basic-level smartphones for the upwards-of-50,000 rupee ($785) price of a new iPhone.Taking to Indian TV screens for the first time, Apple plays up the aspirational appeal of its phones, showing a glamorous Indian bride using Facetime, Apple's video calling feature, to send coy flashes to her groom of a henna-ed hand or skirt hem before their wedding.
Apple offers financing schemes where buyers of its latest iPhone 6 can pay in monthly instalments, and has launched Apple Music, a cloud-based music streaming service, for just 120 rupees ($1.88) a month in India - a fifth of the price in the United States.
The company has offered easy financing schemes in India before, but retailers say the focus on operations and marketing show Apple is now more seriously targeting the market. And there's plenty of market for it to aim at.The premium smartphone market will be close to 8 million units in 2015," said Neil Shah, analyst at Counterpoint.
"Apple has a lot of room to grow and capture a significant share of that," he added, noting Apple sold just over a million iPhones in India in the year to April.

iPhone 6 Highly Performance Design  .
This is Extremely thin, the iPhone 6 flaunts a seamless design with the smooth blend of anodised aluminium, stainless steel and the curved, polished glass. Incredibly light, the beautifully crafted iPhone 6 feels great in your hands. Thanks to its innovative design, the iPhone 6 provides an intuitive experience and is extremely easy to use.
iPhone  its largest And thinnest we’ve seen
At 6.9 mm, this is the slimmest iPhone now a day and Apple has gone back to the rounded edges that the very first iPhone came . Actually It doesn’t feel like an iPhone. The bigger screen seems to have taken Apple out of its comfort zone. the iPhone 6 is possibly the most slippery iPhone that Apple has ever built.

The Developing an iPhone with a larger, more advanced display meant pushing the edge of design. Its not just a bigger display a better display. So while its display is larger, iPhone 6 feels just right. Featuring the thinnest and most advanced Multi-Touch display ever made, the Apple iPhone 6 promises a high-contrast output with incredible colors and brightness on its 4.7 inch Retina HD display. A resolution of 1334x750 pixels, clear wide-angle viewing and an improved polariser - the iPhone 6 truly offers a bigger and better display.
There is nothing that can beat the iPhone 6's iSight camera.

Some  people take some  photos with iPhone than with any other camera. Then now the iSight camera has a new sensor with Focus Pixels &  new video features, like 1080p HD at 60 fps, slo-mo at 240 fps, and time-lapse video mode.Photos or videos - there is nothing that can beat the iPhone 6's iSight camera. The iPhone 6's 8 MP iSight camera gets new features such as a new sensor with Focus Pixels, improved face detection and exposure control.
Operating System- IOS 8 just almost same as iOS 7 with a minor changes including health app and it works well and is lag free. The App Store provides all necessary apps for free and the quality of apps is better than that of the android. The only niggle here is that many of the apps aren't customised for larger screen and they kinda look unpleasant to eyes compared to the others.
Battery-This is the part where the iPhone 6 is lacking. This is a sort of consequence of that thin design. A battery of 1810mAh isn't completely powerful enough to make it last more than a day. By the time you are at bed you have to plug in the charger.A moderate to heavy usage including browsing safari checking mails using whatsapp Facebook listening to some music will drain the battery before night and if a lot of gaming is being done then don't expect much

Simply amazing Review :
The feeling of un boxing it and switching it on for the first time is something in itself! You will be surprised to find it so light compared to its screen size. Amazingly smooth and has a much better battery life. Charges faster if you use an ipad charger with it. The double tap for accessibility is great and very useful. The camera does far better than its predecessor. You will love it when you own it.
